Welcome! We are so excited that you’re interested in the position of Camp Longleaf counselor!
Spending a portion of your summer as a counselor is a great opportunity to gain work experience and valuable skills all while enjoying our beautiful pine forest in the heart of the Emerald Coast. As a counselor, you will live in the cabins with campers and help foster an environment at camp that inspires campers to get out of their comfort zone, develop new skills, gain self-confidence, and create lifelong friendships.
The ideal counselor will be at least 18 years old, female, have experience working with children, a positive attitude, and an appreciation of the natural world. College students are encouraged to apply. Our counselors are required to pass a background check and complete First Aid/CPR Certification (offered during summer counselor training before camp is in session). A full job description can be found in the Counselor Application below.
Please send all applications to campinfo@eowilsoncenter.org. Call (850) 835-1824 with any questions.
